Making a new brochure...wanna help?

Today i am making a new brochure for the Xtreme -round the island Tour.
The brochure will cover two different tours around antigua on our faster boat Xtreme. One of the tours will be making a stop at the Stingray City Marine Park where our partners take us on a tour of their big off shore aquarium filled with rays and other exotic life. The other tour is the same round the island trip substituting The Marine Park with a extra snorkeling stop near bird island.
Anyway, if you would like to help design a brochure or at least help me pick some good photos that would interest would be guests then have a look at the current brochure which folds into three in an upright. It is seen folded out flat below. The first photo is of the front (outer fold):

and the second is the inside fold:

I want to change the front more than anything and am thinking about putting several photos on the front far right fold. Then goto this Flickr link: and on the top row on the right hand side there is a box titled "photos related to my job" on that and there are 100 photos that we can pick from to use on the new brochure. After you have found one that you like, copy the url and paste it into the comment section below this post. There is a comment verification email that i have to approve (so that we dont get porn crap on this blog) and then your pick or picks will be listed below this blog entry. IT can be fun. The point is that we are trying to get the best possible photos that will help generate more interest in this tour. I think its an excellent tour which just hasn't had as many people try it as we have had on the eco tour. By offering another version of the same tour to this new brochure, we will be able to offer it at a better rate. Anyway, thanks for the help. The top photo is of some of the crew after coming in from Fridays tours. Eli

Went on your Xtreme Tour last Monday (4th June) with Tony & JD. I was staying at BlueWaters. I was thinking at the time the brochure needed a better design. Especially the font and layout. I have my own design studio in the UK and came across your blog when showing the guys at work the boat etc........ great day out....... appart from drinking half the sea snorkelling ......ask Tony! and getting a hicky from a stingray! I can help with layout/design no problem and supply as a print ready file. I would also suggest getting better quality print.

A fun thing to consider including, if you know a cool illustrator, would be a map of Antigua, with the Xtreme Tour's areas of interest highlighted with over-the-top illustrations. You know the kind I'm talking about?

Also, compelling guest comments are persuasive. Actually, best if they're from an accredited source, like some travel writers or something.

These are just some of my favorites, but definitely reminded me of our wonderful trip last June on Extreme. Thanks for the opportunity to give input on the brochure, looks great too!

Too many, I know, but I like 'em all. I think the last one would be great on the front, and I really like the one of Eli, Tony and ? on the dock. The one of the dad and son jumping off the boat looks like they're having a blast, and the baby turtle is reminds me a lot of your logo - putting it next to the logo might be kind of cool.

They are ALL gorgeous pics! I'm a theater director who loves the Caribbean and photos. I also use to work for a photog, and met with lots of art directors...An approach would be, to use the photos to tell the story that you want the people to 'hear', then let the design guys enhance that story. Those photo's all say something specific. "" tells us it's fast and fun. The "puppy shark" says it's not your ordinary trip under water - a hint of danger - without scaring people. "boys will be boys" and "erupt" & "lunch at work" say that EVERYBODY can have fun - both the lazy and the active, and it includes kids. "life is beautiful" says, ain't nothin' better than this! Also look at the ones on the site, and your blog, that have lots of comments on them. If a lot of people take the time to write or choose them - they are the pics with the loudest 'voices'. You pick the main theme of your story, and then fill in with other pics. GOOD LUCK! Please post for us to see, as you go along.
